At a tennis match for her friend Alexander Zverev, Sophia Thomalla cheered him on energetically – and showed tattooed muscles.
At yesterday’s round of 16 of the US Open, actress Sophia Thomalla (33) was back with full commitment to watch her lover Alexander Zverev (26) match against Jannik Sinner (22) from South Tyrol in New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium. This time she had a lot to do to actively cheer him on until he won – the tennis drama lasted a full four hours and 40 minutes, in which Zverev finally left the court as the winner.

In the stands, Thomalla impressed less with one of her often skimpy outfits than with her powerful gestures, with which she repeatedly demonstrated her support for her boyfriend. In numerous photos you can see her with a fist raised in a combative manner, which provided an opportunity to admire the numerous large-scale tattoos on her arms.
“One of the best moments of my career”
As “Sky Sport” reports, Zverev was completely exhausted after his victory, but overjoyed. He opened up to reporters: “I think I can say I’m back. I don’t know how I did it. I was completely exhausted in the fourth set. It’s one of the best moments of my career after my comeback, after everything.”
Sophia Thomalla has been with Germany’s currently biggest tennis star Alexander Zverev since the end of 2021. Since then she has often accompanied him to his tournaments around the world. Again and again she causes a stir in the ranks with extravagant outfits – like in June of this year, when she wore little more than a tight “swimsuit dress”.
