Sophia Thomalla has been in a happy relationship herself for two years. In the program "Are You the One" she helps others to find the perfect partner. She doesn't seem to believe in the perfect relationship herself.
In the RTL program "Are You the One", people are supposed to find the right partner for them that has been calculated by experts. Sophia Thomalla, 31, accompanies the candidates on this trip. However, she herself would not participate in such a format. "No, thank you" is her clear answer in an interview with "T-Online".

But she doesn't have to, because the model has been in a relationship with soccer goalkeeper Loris Karius, 27, since 2019. However, it doesn't have to be perfect. Sophia seems to be sober about the concept of the show. "Is there a perfect relationship? And if so, what exactly is that perfect relationship," she questions. So everyone has different ideas about it. "Everyone does that for themselves. And that's a good thing," says the 31-year-old.
"I can't live without work"
The daughter of actress Simone Thomalla, 55, seems to have found exactly the right attitude for herself. Because things couldn't be better for her at the moment, both professionally and privately. "I'm pretty balanced in everything. I can't live without work. And I couldn't live without a family either. Both go well together. You just have to want that," states the moderator.
The moderator is happy about distraction for viewers
Although she would not run as a candidate in a format like "Are You the One", she is happy to be able to distract viewers from their worries for a moment. "If we can currently contribute with our projects to make people feel a little more comfortable with them, we have already done a lot right," says Sophia.
