Sophie Davant, journalist and radio and television host, joins Europe 1 from August 28.
An essential figure on television and radio, Sophie Davant has created a strong bond with the public thanks to her spontaneity and empathy. From August 28, Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., she will be at the helm of a new program “Sophie & Les Copains”. History, science, literature, heritage, sport, art, entertainment, region…, for two hours, Europe 1 listeners will be invited to take part in a quiz on the major themes of French culture in an attempt to win the kitty of the day !
Sophie Davant will be surrounded by a team of three expert columnists in their chosen field who will be there to guide the listener, all in a warm, friendly and musical atmosphere. Every day, a new common thread guest will join the gang and also take part in the quiz game; two hours of live entertainment, where good humor will be the key word.
About Sophie Davant : A graduate of the Bordeaux Journalism IUT, Sophie Davant studied at the University of Bordeaux III where she obtained an English-German LEA license. She began her career as a trainee on Antenne 2 and became head of the weather service in 1992, which she presented until 2006. She started on the radio in 1993 then hosted numerous television programs including “C’est au program from 1998 to 2019 and more recently “Affaire Conclue” on France 2. At the same time, Sophie Davant launched the magazine “S le magazine de Sophie” in 2020 and published numerous books such as “Everything that binds us: Confidence for confidence (2021 – Albin Michel).
