(Boursier.com) — Sopra Steria climbed 2.6% to 144.9 euros the day after the announcement of the acquisition of the Belgian software company Tobania. Created in 2014 following the acquisition of Saga Consulting NV by Tobius NV, Tobania is a consulting and digital services company. With 650 employees, Tobania, whose head office is located in Grimbergen, plans to achieve a turnover of 110 ME in 2022.

Bryan Garnier reiterates his ‘purchase’ opinion following this agreement, the amount of which has not been disclosed. With this transaction, which should be finalized in the first quarter of 2023, Sopra Steria should double its size in Belgium while revenue and operational synergies are expected. That said, the broker considers that the acquisition will be marginally accretive to EPS, and expects more synergies from the upcoming acquisition of CS Group.
