(Boursier.com) — Sopra Steria has just been distinguished by Forrester, as a “Notable Vendor” in The Public Sector Industry Cloud Landscape study, Q3 2023, in the category of the largest suppliers, present in the Europe, Middle East and Africa zone. In its study, Forrester noted in particular that Sopra Steria operates mainly in the fields of defense, public administration and social services.

The report published by Forrester, a leading research and consulting firm, provides an overview of cloud solution providers to help public organizations identify the partner capable of meeting their specific needs.
This study aims to guide them in order to better assess the value provided by each Cloud solution provider, to better understand their particularities and to consider the best options based on their size and their preferred areas.

Covering 42 suppliers, the study allows decision-makers to navigate the complex environment of Cloud solutions, and strategic, business and technological managers in the public sector to select the platform adapted to their challenges. According to this study, one of the major criteria is to “understand whether a solution meets the specifications in an economical and scalable manner.”

For Sam Higgins, principal analyst at Forrester and author of the study: “In the public sector, the Cloud enriches back-office dematerialized operational platforms to adapt to a wide diversity of use cases, which fall under the exclusive competence of the State. Another important point, these solutions are implemented on infrastructures which must necessarily respect the regulations in force and the confidentiality of data processing, to respond to the issues of trust and sovereignty posed by digital and data.”
