“Sorry ?” : Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine outraged by the question of a guest of C à vous

This Monday, October 10, France 5 broadcast a new number of C à vous. Like every day, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine and her columnists welcomed a chef to prepare a divine dish for them. But during the development of the dish, the host had to face an inappropriate remark from her guest.

Offensive words. This Monday, October 10, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine presented a new number of It’s up to you on France 5. And as tradition dictates, the host received on the show a chef who comes to prepare original dishes that team members and guests can taste at the end of the program. And the cook of the day was Matan Zakenchef of the restaurant Nhome, based in the first arrondissement of Paris.

For the occasion, the latter had set himself a challenge: to create a dish that he had never cooked before. A dish in which we found in particular Jerusalem artichokes, raw scallops marinated with citrus fruits or even mushrooms. And in return for the pub, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine had therefore come to hear from her guest to follow the preparation of the dish. But while Matan Zaken was finishing the last preparations, the latter allowed himself to make an astonishing remark to the host.

Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine: “of course if it’s my type”

We’re going to dress. You want to help me, don’t you? Not your type?, he dropped, leaving the presenter of C à vous speechless. “Sorry ?! Oh well of course if it’s my kind of trainer! I’ll go with my hands”immediately retorted Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, visibly upset by the words of her guest.

This is not the first time that the host of France 5 finds himself in an uncomfortable situation facing a chef. On March 18, she had made a small mistake when presenting a dish concocted by Pascal Parisse, a cook from Marseille. “And on the menu tonight is a bouillabaisse!”, launched Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine in a confident tone, imitating the Marseille accent. “No, these are package feet (another specialty of Marseille, editor’s note)”, had immediately corrected the chef. An error which had caused the hilarity of all the speakers, while Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine displayed a somewhat crestfallen air.
