Sarah Connor, Peter Maffay, Adel Tawil and many other stars will be on stage at the “Sound of Peace” peace rally.
On March 20, a star-studded peace rally will take place in Berlin. ProSieben and Sat.1 will report live on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. in “Sound of Peace: The Great Peace Event in front of the Brandenburg Gate”. Rebecca Mir (30) and Daniel Boschmann (41) will moderate the broadcast for the broadcasters. The two get support from their colleagues Matthias Killing (42) and Marlen Peters.
“We have worked hard for peace in Europe and we must all fight to preserve it. Our message: end the war. End all wars and have an open heart for people who have fled from all over the world,” explains Boschmann, among other things statements. I can only agree: “The pictures we see every day tear our hearts apart. […] Peace is the most important thing we have in the world, so let’s stick together. That’s what we’re all working towards.”
The moderator thinks it’s “really great” that so many artists “have come together to set an international sign for peace, human rights and democracy on Sunday. Together we are obvious and that’s more important than ever right now .”

In the name of the “Sound of Peace” initiative, numerous big stars will take part in the musical peace rally. Initially, appearances by Peter Maffay (72), Silbermond, Zoe Wees (19), Michael Patrick Kelly (44), Revolverheld and Gentleman (46) had been announced. They will also be joined by Sarah Connor (41), The BossHoss, Cassandra Steen (42), David Garrett (41), Adel Tawil (43), Hartmut Engler (60) from Pur, Clueso (41), In Extremo and other acts . And more artists are to follow.
“Now, more urgently than ever, we need an international sign of hope and solidarity,” it says, among other things, on the homepage of the solidarity alliance “Sound of Peace”. Together they want to set “a strong and conspicuous symbol for peace, human rights and democracy” – especially to support the people of Ukraine. Donations will also be collected for this.
