Last September, Carry Castle and Thunderful Publishing were throwing Early Access on Steam Source of Madness, a side-scrolling action role-playing game with mechanics of roguelite. The title has been entitled to several updates, and it arrives this week on all platforms in final version.
Source of Madness is therefore available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, and immerses us in a world inspired by the world of Lovecraft. The player embodies a disciple who must discover the cosmic secrets of the Marl earth and some Moon Citadel by confronting procedurally generated AI monsters. the gameplay gives pride of place to magic in close combat, also with exploration in labyrinthine areas, loot to collect and a skill tree with classes and spells.
