JOHANNESBURG, June 14 (Reuters) – The African National Congress (ANC) and the Democratic Alliance (DA), the two largest political parties in South Africa’s newly elected Parliament, have reached an agreement to form a unity government that will also include the Freedom Party and the Patriotic Alliance, public radio SABC reported on Friday.
According to the current agreement, the position of deputy speaker of the National Assembly will go to a member of the Democratic Alliance, again according to SABC.
