The country’s gross domestic product rose 3.0% in the January-March period from a year earlier, also slightly less than the 3.1% gain heralded in advanced estimates, the data shows. of Core Bank.

This downward revision follows an upward adjustment by the central bank of economic growth for the last quarter of 2021, 1.3% quarter-on-quarter compared to 1.2% previously announced.

For the whole of 2021, Asia’s fourth-largest economy grew by a revised 4.1%, the fastest in 11 years and up from a previously forecast 4.0%, said the central bank.
