We know the Polish studio 11 Bit Studios for his games such as This War of Mine Where frostpunkwith notably Frostpunk 2 which should be released this year, if all goes as planned. But that does not prevent the studio from working on other games in parallel, since we are (re)discovering today South Of The Circlea narrative title that mixes Cold War and love story.
A narrative game about love and war
11 Bits Studios surrounds itself with a partner of choice, the British studio State Of Play (nothing to do with the Sony show), which had already made an impression with the very pretty Lumino City.
As a matter of fact, South of the Circle is not really a new game: the title had already been released on iOS platforms a few months ago in the Apple Arcade, but the partnership with 11 Bits Studios will bring the game to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch. No date announced for the moment, but the game should be released soon.
In South of the Circle, we follow the story of a young man named Peter, living in the middle of the Cold War, who will have to choose between his career and his great love, while being immersed in battle. The game is entitled to a quality English-speaking voice cast, with the presence of Gwilym Lee (Bohemian Rhapsody), Olivia Vinall (The Woman In White), Richard Goulding (The Crown), Anton Lesser (Game Of Thrones) Adrian Rawlins (Chernobyl) and Michael Fox (Downtown Abbey).
