Fans of “South Park” can look forward to plenty of supplies. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have signed a deal for 14 films.

The adventures of Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny and the other kids from “South Park” first flickered on TV sets in 1997, but the animated series is far from over. Trey Parker (51) and Matt Stone (50), the brains behind “South Park”, have signed a mega-deal with the media group ViacomCBS. According to a “Bloomberg” report The two should receive more than 900 million US dollars, the equivalent of around 760 million euros, in the next six years.

14 films and several seasons

In return, Stone and Parker will work on 14 “South Park” films for the Paramount + streaming service. Additional seasons of the series are also planned for Comedy Central. The first two films should appear this year and the series is already being extended to season 30, which will then be shown in 2027.

“Comedy Central has been our home for 25 years and we’re really happy that they made a commitment to us for the next 75 years,” joked Parker and Stone, according to a press release. In addition to the series, there is already a cinema strip. “South Park: The Movie” was released in 1999.
