Michael van Gerwen was not naked: The former number one in the world won his first round game on Friday evening at the European Darts Championship in Salzburg – as did Gerwy Price, number one in the world.
Van Gerwen’s opponent, Croatian Boris Krcmar, ultimately had no chance and clearly lost out with 2: 6. On Saturday, van Gerwen will meet Englishman Ryan Searle in the second round, who on Friday defeated his compatriot Michael Smith 6: 4 – after 2: 4 behind.
