Series SpaceForce canceled after two seasons
The American streaming platform Netflix continues to clean up its catalog. While some series are quickly confirmed for an additional season, content that is not (quickly) profitable enough for the platform is now discarded by the American giant.
This is the case today for the space series SpaceForce, developed by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels, in which we also find John Malkovich. Launched at the start of 2020, the series was quickly confirmed by Netflix for a second season, which has been broadcast since last February. However, a few days ago, Netflix put an end to SpaceForce.
On April 30, Netflix confirmed the cancellation of SpaceForce, a series which, despite enormous potential, ultimately had a hard time convincing viewers. In addition to generally negative opinions, the series has failed to attract the expected audience, and Netflix now seems less inclined than ever to spend fortunes to produce content that lacks profitability….
