Spain: Government agreement between PSOE and the Catalan Junts party

MADRID, November 9 (Reuters) – The Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE) and the Catalan separatists Junts have reached a government agreement, Spanish public television (TVE) reported on Thursday.

The socialist Pedro Sanchez, who is seeking a new mandate as president of the government, needs the support of the seven elected officials of Carles Puigdemont’s Junts per Catalunya party to ensure a majority in Parliament.
