MADRID (Reuters) – A seventh victim has been found after a bus crash in Galicia, northwestern Spain, on Saturday, regional authorities said on Monday.

The bus fell for a still unknown reason from a bridge in a flooded river, near the municipality of Cerdebo-Cotobade.

A Civil Security helicopter spotted a body downstream of the Lérez after the search resumed on Monday morning, the government representative in Galicia, José Miñones, told reporters.

The number of people who were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, which occurred in the early evening, remains uncertain.

Two people survived, a woman still hospitalized and the bus driver, a 63-year-old man, slightly injured.
