Spartacus RUMOR: Sony will formalize the merger of PlayStation Plus and PS Now next week

While the computer/Xbox Game Pass cardboard on the side of home Microsoft, sony still offers its Playstation Plusallowing you to play online and have a few games, not always attractive, every month. A service complemented by Playstation Nowto stream a large catalog via a monthly subscription.

By merging the two services, sony would have an equivalent to Game Passand that is what he would intend to do with Spartacus, who has been talking about him for a few months. Only difference, the exclusives playstation would not be included upon launch. Subscription formulas Essential, Extra and Premium had leaked recently, and the Japanese manufacturer seems to be moving forward.

According to information from Bloomberg, Sony Interactive Entertainment would formalize its new subscription service next week. An offensive to counter the Game Pass of Microsoft with a large catalog of more or less recent games, including access to online multiplayer of course, and which would therefore mix PS+ and PS Now, without the exclusives day one. And just this small detail would no longer allow us to compare Spartacus to Game Passwhich is very successful thanks to the presence of games AAA like Forza Horizon 5 Where Halo Infinite as soon as they leave.

Of course, all of this is still to be taken with a grain of salt. sony did not react to this information, but if it is correct, the manufacturer must actively prepare its announcement which could occur in the next few days. In the meantime, you can always find cards NHP on Amazon.
