From this evening on France 2, you will be able to discover a new detective series taking place in the mountains: Piste noire. The opportunity in this winter period to offer you a quiz on skiing at the cinema with eight films to recognize.
So tonight is the broadcast on France 2 of the first two episodes of the Piste noire series. A thriller that takes us behind the scenes of a worrying ski resort in the heart of the Alps. One evening while celebrating the exploits of champion Boris, a young prodigy from the region, an inhabited caravan caught fire in the valley at the foot of the resort.
We think at first of a simple accident, but it will soon be found that the victim had been beaten up before dying of asphyxiation in the fire. It is then a young policeman from Lyon, Emilie Karras, who is sent on the spot to carry out the investigation. She will be supported by Sergeant Servoz, a cynical and disillusioned man, who will help her try to unravel the mysteries and pretenses of the inhabitants of the station.
On the casting side, we find Constance Labbé for the main female role. A young actress revealed by various TV series (Camping Paradis, Mongeville, Commissioner Magellan), and that we could see later in several feature films like Edmond by Alexis Michalik, or the two parts of Joyeuse Retraite.
It is the actor Thibault de Montalembert, trained at the Cours Florent as well as at the Amandiers theater of Patrice Chéreau, and former resident of the Comédie Française in the 90s, who embodies the character of Major Servoz.
Piste noire is therefore to be discovered from this evening on France 2, and the series has given us the desire to offer you a quiz on skiing in the cinema. Try to negotiate all the bends as well as possible to arrive with a perfect on the finish line!
