A table of vintages: why? How? ‘Or’ What ?
Soften the old diaries or “paper” almanacs offered, between the map of the departments and the list of telephone codes, a small table which delivered good or mediocre marks for each vintage by major vineyard. That was before, and somewhat sketchy. When we look a little closer at the wine distribution, we realize that Chablis is located 200 kilometers from Mâcon, yet both are Burgundians. Similarly, between the north of the Rhône valley with its hermitages or other saint-josephs and the south near Châteauneuf-du-Pape or the costières-de-nîmes, we do not enjoy the same climate.
