Spider-Man No Way Home: Tom Holland’s blunder with the star of Miss Marvel

Star of the new Marvel series on Disney +, “Miss Marvel”, Iman Vellani revealed that Tom Holland had revealed the plot of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” to him long before its release.

For Marvel stars, keeping a secret is part of the job. The exercise can be perilous, especially when it comes to skillfully dodging difficult questions and theories from fans. However, some actors, like Tom Holland, are still trapped and sometimes voluntarily.

Last example to date: the interpreter of Peter Parker revealed an important element of Spider-Man: No Way Home to his colleague, Iman Vellani, the main actress of the new Miss Marvel series. In an interview granted to Elite Dailey, the young woman explains that the Briton came to visit her in her dressing room during a day of filming. The two productions were filmed at the same time.

When the Spider-Man star asks her jokingly, “What is your show about?”, the actress returns the question. In response, Tom Holland shows him a photo of himself with Tobey Maguire, a year before the film was officially released. “I understand we’re both in Marvel, but I didn’t need to know that before time.”, she jokes.

Spider-Man: 6 Times Tom Holland Spoiled The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Despite numerous confidentiality clauses, Tom Holland couldn’t resist revealing one of the film’s biggest surprises. During its production, Spider-Man: No Way Home was shot in the greatest secrecy. The appearances of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were limited to only a few rumors, despite stolen – but unauthenticated – photos uploaded to the Web.

Iman Vellani must also control her speeches to keep the mystery intact around the series. One thing is certain, she will be back in The Marvels, the Captain Marvel sequel, in theaters on July 26, 2023.

As for Spider-Man: No Way Homea theatrical release is scheduled for September 2 in Canada and the United States with new exclusive scenes.

Miss Marvel is available on Disney+.
