(CercleFinance.com) – Spie announces the signing of an agreement to acquire the Grid Solutions business of the Strukton Group in the Netherlands.
The Grid Solutions business consists of providing installation, expansion and renovation services for high voltage substations and medium voltage infrastructure, as well as service and maintenance activities which include inspections, 24/7 maintenance and support.
the Grid Solutions activity mainly operates on the Dutch market and is based in Hengelo (in the east of the Netherlands); it generated nearly 28 million euros in turnover in 2022 with good profitability.
With this acquisition, SPIE continues to consolidate its positions in the booming energy market in the Netherlands.
