The European Commission announced today that it has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the acquisition of Strukton Services by SPIE Nederland, a Dutch subsidiary of the Spie Group.
Strukton Services, a company of Strukton Groep NV, manages and maintains buildings in the Netherlands, while Spie provides multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications.
The Commission concluded that the proposed transaction would not raise competition concerns given the moderate overlaps between the parties’ activities.
The operation was examined within the framework of the simplified procedure for examining concentrations, specifies the Commission.
