(CercleFinance.com) – The French engineering group Spie announced on Monday that it was going to build two charging stations for 200 electric buses near Amsterdam.

The company indicates that it will take charge, on behalf of the public transport company EBS, of the design, installation and commissioning of the energy supply and distribution systems of the two new depots, located in Purmerend and Zaandam.

As part of the project, Spie teams will cooperate with Iwell for the supply of batteries and energy storage systems, Izen for the construction of solar carports and Siemens for charging stations.

Its teams will also work on setting up an associated data network for the two new sites, which should be commissioned by the end of the year.
