Spiritual awakening turns into a nightmare in The Chant

After a first hint about it during the Prime Matter Showcase 2021, The Song gives its news and announces a release for the fall of 2022. However, the Brass Token studio specifies that the game will not be released on all the platforms originally planned. As with many other games, the choice was made to focus on the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series versions, canceling the PS4 and Xbox One versions at the same time.

In this psychedelic horror game, you will follow Jess Briars, participant of a New-Age spiritual retreat in the middle of an isolated island. But what should have been a moment of relaxation and awakening turns into a nightmare after a ritual chant goes awry, opening a portal to a nightmarish dimension called Darkness. Terrifying prismatic creatures then appear. Creatures that are actually the manifestation of everyone’s worries and fears, while the Darkness is driving everyone gradually crazy.

Only one hope remains to avoid being trapped for eternity in Darkness. Understand the mysteries surrounding a New-Age sect present on the island in the 70s and try to reverse the song. But for that you will have to strengthen your spirituality and your mind so as not to sink eternally into madness and terror.
