Broadcast on February 9 in the evening, the latest Nintendo Direct was more than substantial in terms of official announcements and trailers. On the program: from Fire Emblemfrom Kingdom HeartsXenoblade Chronicles 3, but also Splatoon 3. During the show, we were able to learn more about this third opus and Nintendo has released a gameplay video for its cooperative mode, called Salmon Run Next Wave.
From the second title of the license, the Salmon Run Next Wave mode will return to Splatoon 3. With its strong cooperative dimension, players will have to form a team of 4 attackers and will have to face different waves of enemies, from Salmonid army. At the same time, they will have to collect as many special eggs as possible and can send them to each other, before storing them. A surprise should await the players, when the game is officially released, because the trailer ended with a new colossal and enigmatic enemy, of which we know nothing to date.
For the moment, Nintendo has not given a precise release date. On the other hand, Splatoon 3 now has a release window: this third opus must arrive during the summer of this year. Which means he should land between June 21 and September 23. Thus, there is a good chance that it will be part of the video game releases for the start of the 2022 school year. As a reminder, Splatoon 3 is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
