As you probably already know, the license Splinter Cell will soon return to the video game scene. In December 2021, Ubisoft shared the good news: the development studio, Ubisoft Toronto, is currently working on a remake of the franchise. Indeed, as reported by journalists from the GameRant site, David Grivel recently published a message on Linkedin, in which he announced his departure: “ After more than 11 years at Ubisoft, he it’s time for me to leave for a new adventure “. In the past, David Grivel has, in particular, worked on Assassin’s Creed UnityFar 4, Far Cry 5 or Splinter Cell Blacklist, to name just a few examples.

At this time, Ubisoft has not officially communicated on this subject. Thus, we do not yet know who will be the next director of the Splinter Cell remake. Of course, we will keep you informed as soon as new details become available.

Remember that, for the moment, the Splinter Cell remake has no date or even a release window. Moreover, since December 2021, we have had little information about the software, apart from the fact that the story should be more modern.
