In December 2021, Ubisoft finally announced the return of the Splinter Cell license, through a remake. This means that we are going to rediscover Splinter Cell, keeping what made it successful, but enjoying new things, to improve the experienceunlike a remaster, which is generally content with graphic improvements and sometimes gameplay.
If we haven’t had any information since, a job offer allows us to learn slightly more, especially about the scenario. As you might suspect, the first Splinter Cell will serve as a base, but the story will be reviewed to concern ” a modern audience “. The job description also explains that the spirit and themes of the original game will be retained ” while exploring our characters and the world to make them more authentic and believable. With the launch of a remake of the license, Ubisoft intends to attract new players, too young or not interested at the time to play Splinter Cell.
