After the remaster Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, THQ Nordic will offer us an original adventure around the famous cartoon character in Spongebob: The Cosmic Shake. She will bring Bob and his companions in alternate universes, from wild west to prehistoric times, for fun mainstream action and platforming sequences.
The title of Purple Lamp was expected for 2023 and we won’t have to wait too long before getting our hands on it. Its release date has just been set for January 31, 2023 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch., and the game will of course be backwards compatible with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders will be rewarded with an offer of costumes inspired by the animated series, which we can quickly see at the end of the energetic trailer broadcast in passing.
