Increase in prices for Spotify subscriptions in France

The subscription in France has today become the most expensive of all countries located in the euro zone.
Subscribers to the paid music streaming service Spotify are now required to pay a few extra cents per month. Specifically, depending on the subscription purchased, the increase ranges from 7 to 22 cents. The premium plan thus goes from €10.99 to €11.12 over the same monthly period, a net increase of 13 cents. No subscription is spared by this increase, not even students who see their price increase by 7 euro cents.
Proportionally speaking, the highest increase concerns the family subscription. Now at 18.21 euros, it shows an increase of 22 cents per month.

Spotify’s new prices will be applied from this Tuesday for all new subscriptions and beyond for all current subscription renewals. Thus, both new users and old subscribers are affected by this increase today, as long as they reside in France.
