Spotify continues its rise in Web3. After allowing a few artists, including Steve Aoki, to promote their NFT collections on its platform last year, the Swedish company is now testing access to playlists exclusively reserved for NFT holders. As part of this experiment, players in the sector, such as Overlord, Kingship, Fluf and Moonbirds, have joined forces with Spotify, which is approaching half a billion users.
Currently, this pilot is for Spotify users on Android in the US, UK, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. French users are therefore not affected for the moment. So be patient…
