Spotify has just launched Daylist, a personalized playlist that adapts to your moods throughout the day. As the music streaming service specifies, this playlist uses your preferences to constantly evolve and match “every version of you”.
While Spotify intends to catch up with Apple Music by offering clips in its application, the music streaming service has just announced the launch of a new feature this Thursday, September 14, 2023.
Spotify therefore presents the Daylists. The principle ? It’s simply a personalized playlist that adapts to your moods throughout the day. Do you like dancing out of bed to Therapy by Marc Rebillet like yours truly? Is listening to a few tracks from London Grammar part of your bedtime ritual?

Daylists, playlists that adapt according to the time of day
Daylist is inspired by your listening habits and your habits to offer a unique playlist which will be updated several times throughout the day to match each version of you, whether it’s the grumpy morning bear or the moth. “It is hyperpersonalized, dynamic and fun, because it reflects what you want to listen to at the moment,” Spotify writes.
According to Spotify, new tracks will be added each time your Daylist is updated, while a new title will define the overall mood of your playlist. According to the company, it will be possible to save a specific Daylist in its library. You will have to act quickly, however, since a selection disappears with the next update. Of course, you can also share your Daylist on social networks.
“Our goal is to create delicious, personalized experiences for every user, and Daylist lets you enjoy the best of your changing tastes and moods,” Spotify promises. According to the company, Daylist is available to free and Premium users in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland starting today. Concerning France on the other hand, Spotify has not yet given a datebut we suspect that the functionality should arrive shortly.
