Taylor Swift on the throne of the annual charts
Taylor Swift leads the list of most streamed artists on Spotify in 2023.

A successful year is coming to an end for Taylor Swift – also on Spotify. No other act has been played as frequently on the streaming service.
The next success for Taylor Swift (33): After the US singer has already broken numerous records in 2023, she is also taking the title of most popular act this year Spotify.
No getting past Taylor Swift
As the streaming service reports, Swift has recorded a total of 26.1 billion streams in the past few months, making her the first artist to take first place among the most internationally streamed acts on the platform. In a global comparison, Bad Bunny (29) and The Weeknd (33) follow her on the podium. Drake (37) and Peso Pluma (24) complete the top five.
When it comes to albums, Bad Bunny is ahead with “Un Verano Sin Ti” – ahead of Swift’s “Midnights” and “SOS” by singer SZA (34). The Weeknd follows in fourth place with “Starboy” and in fifth place is the Colombian singer Karol G (32) with her record “Mañana Será Bonito”. The most successful song of the year is “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus (31) with more than 1.6 billion streams.
Udo Lindenberg and Apache 207 lead German top lists
As with its competitor Apple Music, “Komet” by Udo Lindenberg (77) and Apache 207 (26) is the most frequently streamed song in Germany. The duo lands in the top three places ahead of Cyrus with “Flowers” and Ayliva (25) and Mero (23) with “Sie weiss”. Yung Yury and Damn Yury (“Tabu.”) as well as rap icon Eminem (51, “Mockingbird”) complete the top five.
Apache 207 also leads the local list of top artists – ahead of Bonez MC (37) and Taylor Swift, who took silver and bronze. Meanwhile, the medal places in the top podcasts in Germany are occupied by Felix Lobrecht (34) and Tommi Schmitt (34) with “Gemischtes Hack”, ahead of Jan Böhmermann (42) and Olli Schulz (50) with “Fest & Fluschig” and the YouTubers Rezo (31) and Julien Bam (35) with “Hobbylos”.
