The key event of this last session will undoubtedly be the publication of the official report on employment in the United States at the start of the afternoon. The consensus formed by Bloomberg expects, for September, 260,000 jobs created against 315,000 the previous month. The unemployment rate there is expected to be stable at 3.7%, like the average hourly wage, at 0.3% over one month and slightly slowing down, from 5%, over one year.

On the sidelines of employment statistics, we will also expect in the United States, for the month of August, the stock of wholesalers, expected to grow by 1.3%.

Otherwise, in Germany…

In Germany, industrial production is expected to fall by 0.5% in August (-0.3% the previous month) and retail sales down by 4.1% over one year.

The figures for household spending in Japan for the month of August will have been published before the opening of the Paris Stock Exchange.
