Put on talcum powder
Remove the sole from the shoe and pour in talcum powder which you will leave to act for 5 minutes before replacing the sole. Its absorbent action can help resolve humidity problems and limit friction which can cause noise. If you don’t have talcum powder on hand, the trick also works with corn starch or baking powder. Clever, right? Then try on your shoes to see if the noise is gone!
Use WD-40
Talcum powder is not effective? You can also use WD-40 or silicone spray. While these products are effective in greasing a door or stopping it from squeaking, they can also work on the squeaks in your shoes. After locating where the noise is coming from, remove the soles of the shoes and gently spray the inside of the sneakers with WD-40 or silicone. Products to be used with caution!
