- The SR-X Concept electric motorcycle is a reinterpretation of the already available Zero SR/S model.
- It was designed together with the agency HUGE Design for the “Design the Future” program.
- Designer Bill Webb was in charge.
“Looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, I like it” or “Bringing it out exactly like that” are just a few of the mostly positive comments under a newly released video from electric motorcycle manufacturer Zero Motorcycles, which we shared among others already know from the Zero FXE.

It can be said without judgment: Zero’s concept of a new SR/S certainly doesn’t offend as much as the US company Untitled Motorcycles with its “Death to Petrol” concept. The super sports motorcycle seen in a short video is vaguely reminiscent of an electric Ducati.
As the US magazine Autoblog writes, the power of the electric motor should be 82 kW. A 17.3 kWh battery is installed with a low center of gravity, which should provide a typical range of around 300 kilometers.
We can’t wait to see how this concept bike will inspire the future of the industry and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Zero Motorcycles
So far, Zero has not said anything about a price or series production of the SR-X. Such concepts are usually used to capture the first customer opinions and to check acceptance. If you take the comments below the recently published video as a benchmark, then this electric motorcycle should soon go into series production or at least show a design direction.
