STALKER 2 devs give news

Expected for December 8, STALKER 2 was eventually pushed back to an unknown date. A decision that could not be more logical for the project of the Ukrainian studio, which follows the Russian invasion in Ukraine.

And if there was no news since, GSC Game World took advantage of the Xbox Games Showcase Extended to give some news. Through a video of a few minutes, the studio tells us about the daily life of its development teams since the start of the war, on February 24th. And it is of course a real upheaval of their existence that the members of the studio live since the arrival of the Russian troops in their country.

While some employees have had the opportunity to leave the country, this is unfortunately not the case for all. In this developer diary, several testimonies follow one another to show both the extent of the crisis affecting some of the teams who remained on site, as well as their way of overcoming this ordeal.

However, despite the tension felt in each of the testimonials, optimism seems to remain present regarding the development of STALKER 2. GSC Game World has also shared, following its developer diaries, a trailer whose ending suggests that the game could find a release date in 2023.
