STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, blow, development versions leak on the Web

The development of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is clearly not a long calm river. The Ukrainian studio GSC Games already has to deal with many difficulties because of the war in his country, and as if that were not enough, hackers got their hands on development files last march.

THE hackersof Russian origin, had threatened to put everything online if GSC Games did not pay a ransom. The Ukrainian studio did not follow up on this unscrupulous request, everyone had forgotten about the case… until this week. On RedditInternet users claim to have gotten their hands on development versions of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. 193 GB of data is available on the Web (obviously no link will be shared here), but there is still good news: files are encrypted and unusable as is. However, given the available data, it would seem that the leak was more internal than of external origin.

Seeing your game leak on the Internet, no matter how, is never good news, but since the title is unplayable, GSC Games will be able to hold its head high and continue to develop. STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is expected on PC and Xbox Series X | S in the course of 2023, without further details. You can pre-order the Collector’s Edition at €189.99 on Amazon.
