STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is more apocalyptic than ever with new footage

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is as a reminder developed by GSC Gamesa studio based in Ukraine and which is obviously hit hard by the war that is raging in the country. It’s been almost a year since Russia kicked off their offensive, turning the development of the game upside down.

After several weeks of stopping, the development of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl resumed, but GSC Games had to adapt. The studio split into several groups, some left the country, but others stayed in Ukraine, continuing the design of the game remotely. Maria Grygorovych, producer of the game, spoke with Wired on this unique developmentexplaining how, after the chaos of the beginning of the war, the studio was able to adapt, without forgetting the conflict, its dangers and its consequences.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is still expected in 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X|S, and he even offers himself new images, to admire above. The apocalyptic atmosphere is palpable. You can pre-order the game at €59.99 on Gamesplanet.
