STALKER 2: The developers are said to be moving to Prague to finish the game

We’ve talked about it before, but STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobylthe latest game from Ukrainian studio GSC Game World, has been postponed many times since its official release in 2018. Since the announcement of the Russian invasion at the end of February, video game development studios have had to put their activities on hold, as in many other sectors. But GSC Game World does not want to stop everything, and the studio wants to release its game at all costs.

Moving to Prague

Initially based in the Ukrainian capital, the studio behind STALKER 2 absolutely wants to release his video game, because even without this very complicated context, STALKER 2 had already fallen far behind. Thereby, part of the GSC Game World studio would apparently move to Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, to be able to complete its game. This information was relayed by certain Czech journalists specializing in video games such as Pavel Dobrovskywe still have the Czech media Vortex.

This initiative could give ideas to many other studios, such as 4A Games (behind the series of Subway), but also to other companies beyond the gaming sphere. Furthermore, it is important to note that no official announcement from GSC Game World has yet been made. Note that recently, the title of the game changed to Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl to match Ukrainian spelling.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is planned for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
