In Memoriam
Jax McCleary is a Star Citizen lore announcer (inspired by Jeremy Clarkson) who regularly appears in ship showcase videos. He traditionally does an episode every IAE, and last year’s featured him heading to Pyro aboard his MISC Odyssey brand new.
The production team seems without news since, and the citizens are informed that the traditional episode will not take place this year by means of a poster in his memory.
Is Jax dead? Did he convert to piracy, was he taken prisoner. Impossible to know today.
However, Pyro arrives as a playable system and investigation missions arrive together, with the desire to include lore in their development. A correlation between these three facts seems possible, although this is pure speculation.
