Known issues

The developers have worked to reduce desynchronizations. The changes made to achieve this resulted in a new bug that could not be fixed: ship collision volume is slightly ahead of the player’s perceived position. The faster the ship, the greater the offset. The developers recommend that players shoot slightly in front of their target, and move away from its velocity vector.

Other issues:

  • Ships can explode when you exit them.
  • The Valkyrie spins when being refueled by a Starfarer.
  • There is a delay when transferring between a loot container and personal inventory.
  • FPS weapon mods cannot be de-selected in stores that sell them.
  • Assistance missions (Combat assistance) can be blocked in the presence of a pirate in the Hornet.
  • Damage may appear with a delay.
  • Non-player characters can sometimes wobble or teleport.
  • The Raft elevator may not work.
  • Emptying a magazine and reloading immediately may impair the reload function.
  • The targeting indicator may not appear.
  • Some parts of the character may disappear when released from prison.
  • Medical Assistance Missions may not work.
  • Weapons can pop out or stow unintentionally.
  • Players cannot purchase components directly from a ship’s storage.
