Star Trek: Bad News? Prime Video probably won’t show “Lower Decks” Season 3 after all…

• So far we have assumed that, but Amazon currently has no information as to whether the title will start.
• Already with “Star Trek: Discovery” the start in Germany was suddenly suspended and fans were disappointed!

It’s not easy for fans of the “Star Trek” universe in Germany. “Star Trek” new releases are constantly being announced, but they don’t start in Germany. Even Star Trek: Discovery, which was once exclusive to Netflix, has had a lot of drama… now Star Trek: Lower Decks could meet the same fate.

“Star Trek: Lower Decks” Season 3 has been announced for August 25th on the US streaming service Paramount+. In Germany, the new episodes always come one day after the US start on Amazon Prime Video. For the third season we assumed that too. But will it happen?

Nothing can be said with certainty yet, but we checked with Amazon’s press contact and received the answer that there is currently “no information that [‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ Staffel 3] will appear in Germany in August”.

Something like that can still change spontaneously, but as it stands now, the new season of what is probably the most underrated “Star Trek” series won’t be expecting us in Germany any time soon. At the end of the year, Paramount+ will appear in Germany and will certainly bring the series with it.

“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” will finally have a German release with the start of the streaming service in this country. But we have a trick to see “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” in Germany now.
