In 2024, “Star Trek: Discovery” season 5 will start. This is the final season of the series! As part of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, an action-packed and exciting trailer has now been released.
In the 32nd century, Starfleet has to be rebuilt and new worlds and civilizations have to be explored. The USS Discovery under Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) is well prepared for this task with the spur drive.

In the new video, we see Captain Michael Burnham meet two new characters, Moll (Eve Harlow) and L’ak (Elias Toufexis), before getting involved in some space action. We also hear the voice of Captain Rayner, played by Callum Keith Rennie, for the first time. So far, little is known about the new character, including whether he works for or against Burnham.
It will be an emotional final adventure with Discovery and her crew. New villains appear, the outlaws, L’ak and Moll, portrayed by Elias Toufexis and Eve Harlow, as well as new allies like Starfleet officer Rayner, portrayed by Callum Keith Rennie.

“Star Trek: Discovery” season 5 will enter the final round of the series in early 2024 on the Paramount+ streaming service. Until then, you can expect all sorts of other “Star Trek” new releases in the Paramount+ novelty program!
