In 2024, “Star Trek: Discovery” season 5 starts at Paramount + and will be the series finale. It’s still a while before the new episodes appear, but there’s a new “Star Trek: Discovery” trailer that gives the first clues about the plot.
The synopsis also reveals that the USS Discovery under Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) is hunting an ancient power in the form of a “treasure hunt”. However, Starfleet is not the only party seeking this unspecified power.
