A first trailer for the new season of “Star Trek: Picard” doesn’t reveal much – except that there will be a reunion with Q.

Star Trek legend Q will return in the new season of Star Trek: Picard in 2022. As confirmed by both a new teaser and a panel from Paramount +, there is undoubtedly a reunion with the omnipotent being portrayed by John de Lancie (73, “Breaking Bad”).

In the teaser, the voice of Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart, 80) first ponders history and time until the camera lands on a playing card, a queen of hearts. At the end you can hear Q’s voice saying: “The process never ends!” With the process is meant a court hearing to clarify whether the dangerous human race is allowed to continue or not. The actor appeared after the release of the trailer on the “Star Trek: Picard” panel and confirmed that he would be part of the second season.
