As Trek Central reports on Twitter, actress Denise Crosby (granddaughter of singer Bing Crosby) has promised her return: “You will see Tasha Yar, but I won’t tell you how”.
Tasha Yar is the security chief of the USS Enterprise in the first season of “The Next Century”. She dies unexpectedly. Crosby then appeared regularly in guest roles. As a mirror version or even as a child of Tasha Yar, the Romulan Sela.
In addition to Crosby, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton and Gates McFadden also return. Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd are returning from the first seasons of Star Trek: Picard.
