The Clone Force 99 announces its return! The squad of genetically modified soldiers indeed returns for a second season this fall, exclusively on the Disney+ platform. Launching in May 2021, the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch is the spin-off of The Clone Wars, set in the in-between of the first trilogies, just a few years before the action of the Obi series. -Wan Kenobi.

During these new adventures, the clone troopers and the young Omega (herself a clone of “pure” stock of Jango Fett, and therefore twin sister of Alpha alias Boba Fett) will cross paths with new enemies, including the terrifying Emperor Palpatine. It has also been confirmed by the trailer below that a Wookie Jedi will appear in this second season; it is probably Gungi, already appeared in the fifth season of The Clone Wars.

Several new animation productions were also mentioned this weekend on the sidelines of the Star Wars celebrations; in addition to a second season of the anthology Star Wars: Visions (2023), the Disney+ platform will soon host Tales of the Jedi (anthology exploring the past of illustrious characters such as Count Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn, again voiced by Liam Neeson) or Young Jedi Adventures set during the Era of the High Republic, several centuries before The Phantom Menace (Episode I).
