A small blunder spotted on a Disney + promotional poster by a Star Wars fan suggests that a series criticized by the public will be entitled to new episodes.
As conventions and other celebrations of pop culture – conducive to revelations and big announcements – make their big comeback in physics, Disney may have missed the boat of an important announcement because of a blunder. This error concerns a Star Wars series, which however did not receive only rave reviews.
A fan posted on Instagram what appears to be a promotional poster of Star Wars series available or to come on Disnsey+. We can thus see Andor (soon available), Obi-Wan Kenobi (already available), The Mandalorian (seasons 1 and 2 available, season 3 to come), The Bad Batch (season 1 available, season 2 to come).
A season 2 for Boba Fett?
But what interests us concerns The Book of Boba Fett. On the poster, we can read “season 1 available” and especially “season 2 to come”. Which would mean that Disney has given the green light for a second burst of episodes in the series with Temuera Morrison!
This leak should be taken with a grain of salt, but if the blunder is proven, The Book of Boba Fett would join the list of Star Wars series that have more than one season. Perhaps Obi-Wan Kenobi could join this list too – the actors are up for it – but we’ll have to wait for confirmation from Disney.
Regarding The Book of Boba Fett, we do not know if we can expect confirmation of this leak at Comic-Con in San Diego because no Star Wars panel is scheduled during this convention which starts on July 21. Confirmation may take place in September during D23, the convention dedicated to Disney subsidiaries who present their new projects.
As a reminder, The Book of Boba Fett is a spin-off of The Mandalorian centered on bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand. After having ventured into the lower reaches of the galaxy, the two return to the middle of the dunes of Tatooine to claim the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
