A multiplayer arena action game with original characters from the universe of Star Wars, it’s an idea that could appeal to the base. The first glimpses of Star Wars: Hunters, free-to-play developped by Zynga for mobiles and the Nintendo Switch, however, have not yet raised the crowds.
The project was originally supposed to see the light of day in 2021, but had been postponed to 2022 for it to be improved. The developers obviously need much more time, because despite the availability in soft launch acting as a beta in certain regions of the globe for several months, the international launch of the final version has already been postponed to 2023. The objective is clear: to raise the level of quality in order to be able to offer an effective game over the long term.

We work tirelessly to realize our vision for Star Wars: Hunters. Our ambition is to create a competitive arena fighting game that will entertain for years to come. To ensure that we meet the high expectations we set for fans around the world and for ourselves as developers, we have made the decision to delay the global launch of Star Wars: Hunters.
We invite all gamers to join us on Vespaara when Star Wars: Hunters launches in 2023 on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.
We understand that game delays are frustrating, however, our top priority is to ensure players have the best possible experience in the arena.
For those of you who were able to join us during the soft launch, we really appreciate your support and feedback as we work to make Star Wars: Hunters the best game it can be. We’ll continue to roll out new content updates to affected territories on a regular basis until global launch, with our next update coming in the coming weeks.
