Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, the crowdfunding campaign for the Meta Quest port has begun

Remember, it was in 2002, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was released, a must have at the time! And here’s a way to get you back into it or to discover this title in a much more immersive way than at the time: in virtual reality. Known for its numerous ports, it is the Team Beef who takes care of it and just launched its crowdfunding on his Patreon.

The full single-player campaign in development is available now at Steam and will be later on side quest to be played independently on our Meta Quest. Like all ports of the Team Beefthis one requires purchasing the full game and then dragging and dropping core files into the appropriate folder requested.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is therefore sold for € 8.19 on Steamwhile the Team Beef gives access to “working versions of ports” to supporters Patreon for about $6.50 per month (you can subscribe and unsubscribe immediately).

As a reminder, the Team Beef is the band behind a series of ports VR from iconic PC games to PC systems VR or autonomous. Previous versions mentioned on the page Patreon include the Half-Life port (Lambda1VR), Quake 1, 2 and 3, the original Doom game, Return To Castle Wolfenstein and even Doom 3. If Simon Brown clarified that the Meta Quest are the only ones to be supported, “other headsets will be supported in the future (not necessarily limited to standalone devices)”.

If the Meta Quest 2 still interests you, know that you can afford it at the Fnac, Darty or Amazon for €449.99.
